There are many Commando Krav Maga techniques that are designed for different types of attacks. For this example, we are going to describe what you would do if an attacker tried to punch you from the front.

So you have the attacker in front of you and he swings a straight punch your way. You quickly raise both hands up and deflect his punch down and away from your face. At the same time, you bring your other arm up and use your forearm to strike the attacker as you lean to the side of him.

As the attacker continues to lunge forward with his punch, you step to the side and eventually behind him. From here, you continue to pull your arms around and apply a rear choke on the attacker. This leaves the attacker debilitated and immediately begins to bring him down as you apply pressure from the choke. This now gives you the ability to get yourself away from the attacker, safe and unharmed.
